I can't stand the sizing system of calling things small, medium, large, extra large, etc. so I refuse to do it like that. I decided to do a 1, 2, 3, 4 sizing system because that satisfied my desire to create a sizing system that sizes up or down dependent on how you want it to fit vs. having to pick an adjective to describe your body.
Anyway. My suggestion would be to get a measuring tape and measure your chest, waist, and hip to get a sense of which size you're likely to fall into and/or which kind of fit you're going for. It's pretty straight forward in it's correlation to standard sizes but there's something about this system that I like more.
